Add and remove reactions on Workplace Chat

Reactions on Workplace Chat let you respond to a message with an emoji. You can react to any media on Workplace Chat, including text comments, videos, GIFs and stickers.
Add a reaction
To add a reaction to a message on Workplace Chat:
  1. Hover over the message you want to react to.
  2. Click ReactReact to the side of the message.
  3. Choose from one of the options, or click More reactions to choose any emoji from our emoji library.
You can't react to a reaction.
Undo a reaction
To undo or change a reaction to a message on Workplace Chat:
  1. Hover over the message you reacted to.
  2. Click ReactReact to the side of the message.
  3. Click the reaction you want to remove, or select a different option to change your reaction.
    • You can check what reaction you left by clicking the reactions to the bottom-right of the message. Your current reaction will appear next to your name.
The person you’re chatting with won’t be notified if you remove a reaction. They’ll be notified if you add another reaction.
There’s no time limit to how often you can change a reaction.
